Due to ongoing expansion, we are opening a new centre for Separated Children Seeking International Protection residential centre in the Killeagh area which will provide accommodation services for children. We are now recruiting for the following positions.

 

Relief Social Care Worker:

The successful candidate will have a level 7 qualification in social care or equivalent

Relief Support Worker:

The successful candidate will have a level 5 qualification in social care or equivalent.

Social Care Worker: The successful candidate will have a level 7 qualification in social care or equivalent.

Salary Scale: ​€33,000 + per annum – 40hrs per week

​​​​Support Worker: The successful candidate will have a minimum level 5 qualification in social care or equivalent.

Salary Scale: ​€31,000 per annum – 40hrs per week

HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK CLOSING DATE: TBA INTERVIEW: Can be held within 24hrs of application (Via Zoom, Teams or Face to Face) JOB ROLE (not limited to): The role of the Support worker is to work directly with young people, engaging them in an activity-led program whilst contributing to the day-to-day running of the separated children’s centre. Applicants must have a minimum of a level 5 or above qualification

Successful candidates will have

Minimum Qualification:

• FETAC credit in Care Skills at Level 5
• QQI-accredited Level 5 Early Learning & Care
• QQI Level 5 Social Studies
• Or Equivalent

Minimum Experience

• Two years working in a care setting

Requirements

• Have a full Driver’s Licence.
• Knowledge of Child Protection issues and relevant legislation.
• Be able to work in an occasionally challenging environment.
• Have a calm, welcoming and patient attitude.
• Be flexible to work on a staff rota.
